Basilica of the Queen of the Rosary of Baños de Agua Santa

The father and the inhabitants of the city of Baños met and asked the Virgin to manifest her will. The following night, the Virgin appeared before the priest and declared that her wish was for a temple to be built for her at the foot of the stream, assuring that the lady of heaven would cure the sick who bathe in those waters by having a lot of faith and they would be free from their diseases. In addition to being a shrine, this church has served as a refuge when the Tungurahua volcano erupted on multiple occasions and the surprising thing is that the people who have remained here have escaped unharmed, which is why the image remains inside this sanctuary.
